The Mission of CityServe
CityServe of the Tri-Valley serves people God loves by sending volunteers in the local Church to the non-profits in our region and coordinates resources between the faith based community, non-profits, schools, businesses and government agencies.
About CityServe
GraceWay is one of the founding member churches of CityServe of the Tri-Valley. CityServe’s 18 member churches promote and support God’s call to contribute to the welfare of all.
CityServe provides volunteers and resources to Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and San Ramon. The CityServe office is located in Pleasanton, the mailing address is: P. O. Box 1613 Pleasanton, CA 94566. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit it is guided by its Board of Directors, which includes five Tri-Valley senior pastors (including a military base chaplain), an ad-hoc government representative, an executive director, and a member church business manager. Each member church is represented through their senior pastor and a church liaison.
The group’s website, compiles timely volunteer serving opportunities to get people involved in serving within their community and is compiling a comprehensive listing of resources in the Tri-Valley area. Member churches liaisons, agency coordinator and other interested community members meet monthly to discuss ways to help one another by coordination of resources.
GraceWay members and friends support CityServe of the Tri-Valley through an annual monetary gift, a GraceWay ReachOut budget line item and by volunteering and serving at over 30 local non-profit agencies, and within our local schools, businesses, and government agencies.
